Dare 60 or 24, Verve, Zen Rocks

Another great day with the monthly tangle group. We worked on doing tangles on rocks.  What a great idea. Do use heavy duty markers though:

Finished embroidering Rick's Paradox with white on a black t-shirt. I'll wear it at the CZT training:
For Roy's monotangle this week at Mindful Creations, we worked with Verve. I thought it would be fun to do Verve in Verve:
And, finally, for Erin's Dare at The Bright Owl, we were to do a dare that we had previously completed and either didn't like what we did or had a problem with it. Since I am kind of new to the party, I randomly chose #24 (for my birthday) and challenged myself to use only tangles that I had never used before (or remembered doing) except for the center where I think I was just getting tired:

  1. You've been a busy girl. I think you will be the hit of the party with that TShirt. Love the Verve in Verve, looks kind of like a magnifying glass. All your art is wonderful.

    1. Thank you, Beverly. Busy is good though, yes? Now that I am officially retired I find my list of things to do much longer than I can ever hope to accomplish :)

    1. I used to, before Zentangles, paint on rocks. This works so well on small rocks.

  3. Isn't it great to tangle on rocks/pebbles? Everyone that sees it loves it.
Your Verve is very original and lovely.
    The Dare is also beautiful.

    1. Thanks Annemarie. I think the rocks would be nice gifts. When I was a little girl, my dad used to say I had rocks in my head and I would scream for my mother to get them out. Maybe that's what started this LOKL!

    1. Thanks. Sometimes simpler is better. I tend to stuff my tangles to the brim and must remember that it isn't necessary to do so.

  6. Fabulous Zendala Jean! bold and bright with a nice choice of tangles. You have been busy - what great ideas with the T, cool rocks too - I wish I was going to the training - I will be in the U.S at that time, maybe I should put my name down on the waiting list :)

  9. I love the verve and the that shirt! Oh my! I would do the very same thing - if I had any (which I don't) talent with a needle. Awesome.
