A Zentangle®, Inchie, Challenge and One More

Afterglow, CO2, Msst
I'm still running a bit behind. Isn't it amazing how a few days away really makes such a difference? Well, I finally finished Erin's snowflake Zendala from The Bright Owl.  I really had to think about this one. Not too "snowflaky" but fun:

Laura's Challenge this week was to use Crescent Moon and Diva Dance. What a great combo. This one was a lot of fun also:

Every Inchie Monday called for "Engrave", so I thought I should "engrave" my chop:

And, finally, a tile done for my April Zentangle group using just the letter "C":
Cyme, Changing, Courrant

Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. Your snowflake Zentangle is absolutely gorgeous, Jean! And what a great idea to do tangles that start with the same letter - great way to get through some new or less well known ones.

    1. Thanks, Annie. I do love to be "pushed" into using different tangles. I think that's why I do so many dares/challenges/swaps :)

    1. Thank you, Annette. I agree, everyone's work is so beautiful this week. Those two tangles just begged for some open space to let them do their thing.

Your Diva Challenge piece is so cool - loose & organic, with really nice shading!

    1. Isn't it annoying when you fall behind? (Especially when you open your email folder and see billions of emails, most of them advertisements!) Anyway, I'm still trying to catch up and thank goodness for Zentangle to calm me down! Thanks, Kathryn :)

  11. I struggled with the zendala template also. Once I gave up the idea of the snowflake it did come together. Like your challenge piece. Reminds me of streamers billowing off a balcony.

    1. Oh yes, Donald, it was a bit difficult to do a snowflake from that template. Thanks for your comments!

  12. Wow you've been busy again this week. The snowflake is really Christmassy. It's a great idea to use tangles beginning with the same letter, I think I'll try that when I'm looking for inspiration in the future x

    1. I do think my snowflake looks Christmassy also. It looks more like a window where you can see the snow falling maybe. I also agree that picking a letter forces you to try out new tangles and that's always a good thing :)
