Zentangle® Truffle, and Inchie, a Link to Quilling

This week, Caroline Broady is the guest challenger for the Diva Challenge. I met Caroline and her mom at my CZT training last year in June. It's fun to see someone start out so young with this amazing thing called Zentangle. I can only imagine what she will be doing when she is an adult. Caroline came up with a new tangle called Truffle. She used it beautifully. However, she did say we should feel free to do a tangleation and to have fun, so I did both :)

For this week's Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was "Odd"! Well, I started thinking of the odds of winning the lottery and I actually looked it up. Sigh, I guess I will never win!

And, finally, I was asked to share some of my newest art interest, quilling. I have really just started and don't have much exciting to share, but you can see what I am up to by visiting my Copics and Paper Fun tab above, or click HERE to go directly to that page.

    1. Thank you, Zoe. I would have posted your comment and those below earlier except that all comments went into my spam file this week!!!! I kept checking and wondered where everyone went. I think it is because I am getting spam to this site from "anonymous" that I always put in spam. Now, Google has decided that everyone who writes to TangleStreet is spam.

  3. love your odds of winning the lottery - it truly is astronomical! You've done some interesting things with Truffle - I'm still working it out in my head. And your quilling is cute - it is an awesome talent to have.

    1. Thank you, Kia. Sometimes it's best to just let it go where it wants instead of thinking about it too much. Anyway, that's the way I like to roll with it.

  5. Wow, Jean, your truffle has a great perspective look. I like it... Simple, just enough shading, and very flowy.

    1. Thank you. I am a real believer of shading. I love how you don't have to worry about a light source in Zentangle shading. All you have to think about is the depth to achieve perspective.

  12. I love the tangleations of truffle. I've tried quilling too, getting the glue on the paper in small enough quantities without sticking my fingers together is definitely a challenge. Linda x

    1. You are so kind, Jacque. Your comment made my day :) I'm sorry you have arthritis that keeps you from doing what you want to do. I just finished doctoring for trigger finger that kept me from knitting for over half a year. I now can do so a little now. A little is better than nothing though.

  21. What a lovely way of using Truffle. It sure is flowy. I like what you quilled. I did it once but it was not for me. Hope to see more soon. Thanks for commenting on my blog, I had to Google to see who Paul Klee was....I learned something today. :-)

    1. Thank you, Kay, and I enjoyed your different take on Truffle. I used to be an art teacher and Klee was one of the artists that my children enjoyed learning about. He did some interesting things, as did you!
