Zendala Dare #112

Erin at The Bright Owl has given us a beautiful template to do our Zendala's this week. I chose Jonqal and Munchin. I had to force myself to stop. I often add too much and lose something in the process. I think minimal shading suited this design quite well.

Thanks to all of you that stop by and leave me a comment. I so enjoy reading them!

    1. Thanks, Erin. I'm really glad you're back to doing the Dare. It's always fun to see how different each person's Zendala turns out.

  3. Great tile! I love that you used Munchin on the ribbon - I'm so used to seeing it filling a larger space, but I really like it done this way! I like your shading too!

    1. I don't think I would have ever thought of using Munchin that way except that I had just done Munchin for another challenge and that tile was sitting in front of me. So, I thought, hummm. Don't you love those moments?

  4. Lovely! I just love how your created a celtic look to it! That's always difficult! But You did it and it looks great with the tangles you chose too! Too much fun! Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week. Oh, great Idea with Waldo for Halloween! The bummer part is, it's been soooooo hot here, sweaters and beanies are not going over to well with this group! I'm gonna have to keep that one in mind though! It would be fun!

    1. Yes, I guess you have hot Halloweens like we do. I always feel sorry for the children that wear those masks. I think the Zendala looks celtic is because I didn't keep going and fill everything in. That's not always easy to do though.

  6. Nice work. You left a lot more negative space than I did. Was not as brave as you trying Munchin in the small space of the template.

  7. What a terrific idea to use Münchin in a linear fashion. I'll definitely have to try it that way. Great Zendala.

    1. Thanks, Jennifer. Somehow, I never see my work as delicate. I appreciate that you think so though :)
