Zentangle® B'Dylan, Eddyper, Double 8's, and an Inchie

I don't usually share my own life here, but since I was away last week and missed last week's usually posted items, and since the Diva does not seem to have posted this week, I will.

These pictures are of the place hubby and I camped and a photo of the wild horses that aren't very wild since they are used to people and came very close to us. We were at Black Canyon Lake which is in the rim country of Arizona. We had a lovely and relaxing time up in the mountains. Mid afternoons were still hot, high 90's, but we actually used the heater at night.

The focus tangle for this week on Square One, Facebook is B'Dylan by Mary Beth Schoonover, CZT. I didn't think I would love this one as much as I do! I added some Eddyper by Damy and some Double 8's by Helen Williams.

And, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt word is Spiral. I still haven't read the book, but my guess is that this has to do with spiral galaxies. I used gel pens on black to make a barred spiral which has a bright light or bar running through it.Wish the photo would show the sparkle!

Thank you for stopping by. Sorry I missed you all last week. I do enjoy reading your comments.

    1. I always hate to post that I will be gone. I guess I've read too much about people whose homes get broken into since it was announced that they would be gone. But, I always worry when one of our members suddenly don't post. I tend to jump to awful possibilities. Anyway, I am back and had a wonderful time away from phones and the Internet, Kia :)

    1. Thank you, Sally. There is something so fascinating about the idea of space going forever. I can't even imagine how many galaxies there may be!

    1. Jenny, I couldn't find the link to show how to do it so I could add it to my post, but if you type B'Dylan into a Google search and add the word Zentangle, you will see the step-outs.

    1. Thanks, Freebird. We are so lucky to have beautiful camping areas so close to us. It is less than a three hour drive to be in a totally different world than our blazing hot Phoenix area.

  8. Hi Jean! Glad to see you had a very nice vacation. I love your pictures. Looks like someplace I'd like to go..........but maybe in the spring, before it's so hot. LOL I love your tile. Very nice Double 8's. I like it free from the grid like that. B'Dylan is lovely. Looks so flowy and cooling. And the galaxy is is a great inchie. I totally understand about the sparkle. Some day there will be a way to show that. It might be a 3-D kind of visual for it to show up.

    1. LOL!, Melena. I actually love the heat. Springtime in the mountains is way too cold for me :) Thanks for stopping by. I always enjoy reading what you have to say!
