Beelight as a Monotangle
For this monotangle template from Roy at Mindful Creations, I decided to do Beelight as I thought it lent itself to the square shape. Using the filled in corners next to each other allowed me to change some of the square to look more circular:
It is very interesting, Anne, that you saw what you did in this tangle. I felt the same thing. After reading your comment, I started searching the Internet for that old drawing of "is it a vase, or a face?" I found that it is called a Rubin vase. Look it up. It really is a brain twister. In this one, the cross and the square fight visually with you. Katrina, I just saw beelight myself. It looked interesting. These challenges that kind of force us to do something new are great, yes? Thanks, Lila! Shading can really change the whole flavor of a tangle for sure :)
I like this tile Jean; I see it different everytime my left or right brainhalf (is that really an Englsih word?) take over.
ReplyDeleteWow! This looks cool Jean - lovely shading :)
ReplyDeleteA great tangle, I've never seen this tangle before I love the way you have used it in different ways
