Dare #56, Bunny and Birdies
Erin, at The Bright Owl, challenged us to do a tangle with only pencil. I found myself forgetting and making a mess of smudges all over my once white paper. It was an interesting challenge though:
I had a great time yesterday with a group of tanglers. We all worked on tangling using stencils. Oh, how that has opened up another door. Look on the Internet. There are billions of stencils, coloring book pages, etc. free for the taking.
Like the tangles that you used. It was hard not to smudge. It was there on mine just did not show up in the picture. I reduced it greatly by making sure that I worked from the center out.
WOW! I'll bet that is fun to see people using something that you designed. I would have given you credit, but it was just with a group of stencils that someone brought for us to use, and since you come through on my blog as "anonymous" I still can't. However, it is a sweet little bunny!
:) I didn't draw the bunny I drew the crow stencil. I draw stencils for Quilting Creations. I draw painting and quilting stencils and they are sold in Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics. Hobby Lobby just bought another one that I drew. It should be coming out soon. It's a mermaid. My name is lisa tait tait.lisa@yahoo.com. It is very neat to see how others use the stencils. I am considering opening my own website and selling my stencils.
It seems like we all had a problem with smudging. You don't hardly have any!! And your composition and choice of tangles is lovely.

I don't see any smudges but great shading.
