Since there is no Diva Challenge again this week, I thought I'd share a bit of Narwal.
The focus tangle on Square One, Facebook, is Trumpits. I paired Trumpits with IX.
And Every Inchie Monday has a prompt of "next." I am not one for making resolutions. I know too well that life just has a way of getting in the way of good intentions. Besides, I really don't know what "next" will be until it happens. I really prefer to be surprised by whatever "ohh, shiny" catches my attention NEXT!
Wishing each and every one of you a very Happy New Year! All the best for the days ahead. I also want to thank all of you that follow me or just drop by to say hello. I am very grateful for all of you!

Zentangle® with Gems, IXorus, and an Inchie
Since the Diva is taking a holiday break from her blog and challenge, I thought I would share my first go at doing the trendy gems. I used a photograph of some earrings as a reference, and added a background of Florz.
IXorus is the focus tangle this week for Square One on Facebook. I took the suggestion of tangleation (altered tangle) to heart and kept it simple.
And, the prompt word for Every Inchie Monday is "Evolution." I thought I'd share my artistic evolution from using crayons as a tot (left) to my professional Copic markers (right) as an adult and accomplished artist. Well, maybe not so much of an evolution, huh? (And, I still love my crayons!)
Thank you for stopping by. I want to wish every one of you, who celebrate, a very Merry Christmas with one of my Copic colored cards!

Zentangle® a Watercolor Bookplate, WUD, and an Inchie
I Am The Diva, Challenge #248, is to "give the gift of Zentangle". I used a card from Suzy's Watercolor Doodles that I colored with Inktense and Prima watercolor pencils. I added a border of Quib and Laced, then some Betweed and Inapod to the heart. I finished with regular colored pencils for shadows and a white acrylic paint pen for highlights. This will be a bookplate for a gift.
The focus tangle over at Square One, Facebook, was to use WUD. I added Hurry.
And, The prompt word at Every Inchie Monday was locomotive. This is actually a tiny print out of a photo I took from the back of the steam train ride my hubby and I took in the spring on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. It was truly a beautiful trip.
Thanks for stopping by. I truly enjoy reading your comments!

Zentangle® African Artist, Drupe, and an Inchie
The Diva Challenge #247 is a Use My Tangle. This tangle, African Artist, comes from CZT Tina-Akua Hunziker. I used a Renaissance tile, red Sharpie Ultra Fine Line pen, watercolor pencils for shading and white charcoal pencil for highlights. I added Printemps and Beadlines.
The focus tangle from Square One, Facebook, is Drupe.
And, the prompt word from Every Inchie Monday is Angel. Can you guess that I love food? Here is a giant plate full of angle hair pasta! Yum!
Thanks so much for your visit. I truly enjoy reading your comments!
