Since the Diva is taking a holiday break from her blog and challenge, I thought I would share my first go at doing the trendy gems. I used a photograph of some earrings as a reference, and added a background of Florz.
IXorus is the focus tangle this week for
Square One on Facebook. I took the suggestion of tangleation (altered tangle) to heart and kept it simple.
And, the prompt word for
Every Inchie Monday is "Evolution." I thought I'd share my artistic evolution from using crayons as a tot (left) to my professional Copic markers (right) as an adult and accomplished artist. Well, maybe not so much of an evolution, huh? (And, I still love my crayons!)

Well, Zoe, you know we both come from the same planet, so of course I have gotten those books too. I still need to study them and do better with paper, so I am waiting to change my printer ink before I do so. Did you join Eni's Facebook group? Nice to see what others are doing too.

DeleteLove the idea of your evolution. At first I thought you have drawn DNA in an abstract form.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to stay at the roots. Why not use crayons?
Except for the inability to get a very sharp point with crayons, I think they are still an excellent choice. The colors can be blended as easily as colored pencils and they do have a very nice kind of coverage. Yup, Trillian, why not?
