Zendala with Aquafleur

Do go over to The Bright Owl to get a template to create your own Zendala. I used Aquafleur around the outside, a form of Hurry for the inside, and just simple line work and dots for the rest.
For more tangle fun, visit yesterday's post!

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading comments :)

    1. I am partial to Aquafleur. But, I think I say that about a lot of tangles. Guess I just love most of them! These are always fun to do.

    1. Thanks, Suzanne. Funny how different it can look depending on where you place it.

  3. Nice combination of tangles. Your Hurry looks a lot like my Arukas. I think it is the way that I did it.

    1. Interesting observation, Donald. I use this technique often and think there should be a term for it, like the term "hollibaugh" is used for a style of layering.

  5. Jean, that Aquafleur around the outside is magnificent. Looks like it's got a hold on the rest of the goodies inside the Zendala.

    1. Thank you, Sandra. I do like the almost "forced" balance that using a template gives.

  9. This is great! I never would have the idea to use Aquafleur in a Zendala and as a repeating pattern , not solo. But your pattern is the evidence that it works! It is really stunning!

    1. Thanks, Jennifer. Aquafleur is the tangle that was taught at my CZT 11 training, so it is kind of special to me!
