Valentangle, Printemps, and an Inchie

I am the Diva challenged us to do a Valentangle this week. I cut myself a paper heart and traced it on to a tile. I used a lilac Sharpie to do the tangling, Prisma watercolor pencils for the interior and Inktense watercolor pencils for the glow around the outside of the heart. Tangles used are Heartrope by Bunny Wright, Heart Box by Hellen Williams, and Heartvine by Lori Howe. I added some white gel pen for highlights.

The focus tangle on Square One, Facebook, is Printemps. Printemps is one of the beginner tangles that I teach so I really felt that I needed to push it just a bit. I like that the added Zinger kind of mimics the diminishing Printemps.

And, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt word is "slippers". I do apologize in advance. I just HAD to do this:
Do be careful so you don't become one of the slippers!

Well, just to be more traditional, I thought I would show you a pair of my very favorite childhood slippers too.

Zentangle® a Valentangle, Well, and an Inchie

With a nod to Valentine's day, the Diva, at I am the Diva,  challenged us to do a Valentangle this week. I love playing with hearts and tangles, so this was a fun one. I grabbed a nice piece of pink paper, traced a wooden heart and filled it with Verve. Then, I added Hollibaugh and filled the insides. Simple and fun.
Square One, on Facebook, had the tangle "Well" for this week. I added Rudox, Tagh, and Zinger.
And, finally, for this week's Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was "Night". Hummm, I had to think about this one for quite some time. I finally thought of "night cream". Anyone remember the horrors of their mom's nighttime ritual? (This was so much fun. I drew the woman first and then added molding paste. Do you think she'll look younger in the morning? LOL!)

Thanks for stopping by. I truly appreciate all my visitors and love to respond to your comments.
