Zentangle® Center Square, Beeline, and an Inchie

I hope all of you who celebrate Labor Day had a wonderful one. Mine was quiet with a long afternoon swim. The Diva did not post yesterday, but today at I am the Diva, the UMT (use my tangle) comes to us from Aleesha Sattva, CZT, and is called Center Square. I felt like using color and made mine into a patchwork quilt with added Vitruvius and Courant.

The focus tangle from Square One, Facebook, is Beeline. I added Hurry and Cadent.

And, the prompt word at Every Inchie Monday is "Mice". When I was a music teacher, my students loved it when I let them sing a variation of "Three Blind Mice" called "Three Miopic Rodents"!

Zentangle® Heartswell, Vitruvius, and an Inchie

The Diva had no challenge listed today. I looked to see if it was a holiday, and see that it is Family Day in Canada. I'm sure she is spending the day with her family. I will post again tomorrow after we get the challenge.

In its place, I will add another tile that I did after someone inspired me to do Dragonair. I also felt like playing with Vitruvius, to which I added some black pearls.

Meanwhile Square One, Facebook, has a focus tangle from Helen Williams called Heartswell. Helen certainly creates some beautiful tangles for us to use.

And, Every Inchie Monday's prompt is "beer". My first thought was not to cry in your beer, but fitting that into an inchie seemed a bit daunting. So, I settled on a root BEER float. Of course, my root beer is floating too!

Zentangle with Vitruvius and Boo-Kee

I hope all my US friends had a nice Thanksgiving. We certainly did.

This week The Diva's Challenge #147, was to use Laura's own Boo-Kee in our work. This was a new one to me and I really had fun with it. Lots of people adapted it to snowmen, seasonal, but I had to go elsewhere. I was thinking of my beloved marble collection that I had as a child when I did this one:

The Bright Owl's template for this week also used small circles. Maybe I should have combined them? I'll bet somebody did. I pulled out another tangle that I have never used though, Vitruvius, an official Zentangle with unposted steps. (CZT's get to have all the fun!)

For my group of once a month tanglers, I did one on the new tan tiles:

And, for my sister-in-law, I made a special picture of a dachshund that she requested. I used Copic to color and used an online coloring book picture for the dachshund shape. She loved it!
