For my regular visitors, I have completed my Inchie, Dare, and Challenge, as well as a few more art journal pages.
Next up is an Inchie with the prompt of "ballet". I am loving doing these :)

DeleteI really like all your color variations for your diva challenge! It adds some movement and dimension that make aquafleur really fun. I'm going to have to play around with those Renaissance tiles more :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kailey. I love the color of the tiles but I think they are too soft and it is difficult to lay down the pen. I hope they change the formula to match the white ones one of these days.

DeleteI like the laced/eyelet and ribbon effect around the outside. I have to think about it when I do also, otherwise I end up arcing the opening the wrong way. It is nice to vary colors on Aquafleur. I have not tried the new tiles. I did get a few over the holidays, but just have not taken the time to do anything with them.
ReplyDeleteHAHA, Donald. I know what you mean about arcing the wrong way. Been there, done that! The new tiles work well with the charcoals and pastels, but I find them too delicate for heavy pen work. Maybe you will feel differently. Thanks for the kind words!

ReplyDeleteAh, Jenn. Everyone who can write their name can draw. We have just been conditioned to think we can't. You would be amazed at what would happen if you put something in front of yourself and looked at it with pencil in hand, and you would draw it. It doesn't have to be perfect, that's what cameras are for. Go for it!
DeleteAll of your art work is beautiful. I think your aquafleur is really gorgeous. I love doing the inchies too. Great work on the zendala! I love the laced look around the edges and girdy makes it look even more like a ceiling fan - which was my first thought when I saw the template.
