Zentangle® Rainbow Style, Pendrills, and an Inchie

Color! I do love color, especially when I get to play with my Copic markers. So, when I saw today's challenge from the Diva and the word "rainbow" was there, I had to jump in. I used my air brush to make the rainbow and then I did use the letters requested: LGBT =  Laced, Girdy, Beadlines, and Tipple. This tile is in support of National Coming Out Day. More details at the Diva Challenge.
For Square One on Facebook, we worked with Pendrills. I ended each one with a Zinger. Does anyone know the name of the tangle that looks like washers? I know I've seen it, maybe one of you?
And for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was "Thistle." Did you know that, although a weed, is the emblem of the Scottish nation? I pulled out my gel pens for this one.

  1. Beautiful work. The circles look like Suzanne McNeil's Bubbles only spread out. I found out about the thistle thing when I was working on my Inchie.

    1. Thanks, Nat, I loved making that rainbow on my tile. I think anyone who can do Zentangle can do Inchies. Give it a try; it is only paper :)

  4. You achieved what I was aiming for with your rainbow tile. I purposely hadn't looked at anyone else's before I attempted mine. Maybe I should have sneaked a peek ;-)

    1. Now, you made me jump over to your blog to see your rainbow because of your comment. No, your rainbow is really beautiful. It's just softer and more focused. I love the whole feel of your tile. No comparisons allowed HAHA!

    1. Thanks, Zoe. Yes, when I retired I gifted myself a trip to become a CZT, the classes to become a Copic Certified Designer, and the Copic air brush system. I worked long and hard and almost everything I did or bought was for someone else. ME time now :)

    1. Thanks, David. Yes, that air brush is much more fun than I thought it would be. I thought I might be afraid of it but it is just so easy to use so I use it all the time.

  10. Beautifully drawn inchie, and very clever zentangles. I really must have another go at them when we have moved, and I find everything again.

    1. For once, I had an idea of tying it all together and it actually wound up the way I saw it in my head. That doesn't happen very often. Tangles usually go wherever they want :) Thanks for stopping by, Shelly!

  18. All three pieces are wonderful. I really love your colorful Challenge tile using Girdy so effectively, and the brilliang Colors. I also have a weakness for thistles, which I've always thought are beautiful "weeds" - your Little inchie is delightful.
