Zentangle® CanT, Inapod, and an Inchie

Labor Day put a delay in the Diva Challenge this week, but it was certainly worth the wait. It is a "use my tangle" week and Chris Titus has given us such a versatile tangle to play with. I think it is just so much fun. For some reason, it reminds me a bit of tessellations. I let this new tangle, CanT, morph into Cadent. I really pushed it a bit. I find little busy tangles a bit fussy, so I'm sure I will let it grow a bit in the future. I can see this being used in so many different ways. So simple too. Thanks Chris!
Inapod is a favorite that I just never think to use, so when I saw that it was this week's focus tangle for Square One, I was really looking forward to stretching that as well. I did some cross hatching and stipple. Then an aura of shading.
And, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt word was "ear"! Usually I plan everything completely, but sometimes it is good to just "play it by ear"!

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

    1. As soon as I put down those inner circles, my mind was going outside of CanT into Cadent. I did play with this tangle a bit before I dove in. Thanks for stopping by, Yukari!

    2. I often forget about Cadent too, and that's another favorite especially if I let it break free of the grid-like look. Same thing with CanT. Do let it loose. Thank you, Joanne for stopping by.

  7. All your challenge tiles are very pleasing as usual. Your Can T integrates very well with the other tangles you chose. Inapod is a new one for me. I like it. I also really like Can T. It reminds me of patchwork quilting.

  9. Thank you Jean for explaining the inchie; I was trying very hard to figure out what you were doing...and wasn't making the connection. I still have to get to all these new tangles; so much fun I'm missing out on--you've done some nice creations this week! Have a brilliant day! c

    1. HaHa, Cheryl, those Inchies can really be hard to decipher. I can't keep up with all the new tangles. I don't even try some of them anymore. Enough is enough sometimes :) Thanks for stopping by and always leaving such nice comments!

  10. I love how you repeated the circles in your other tangles. Nice morphing and tangle pairing! I love your Inapod with the crosshatch shading. You really did it well. And "play it by ear" is adorable!

    1. Thanks, Antonine. Circles (orbs LOL) are a favorite of mine. I love how they can splash across a page or inside of a tangle. I almost did my usual spilling of Tipple as an extension of this theme but stopped myself!
