The Diva's guest, Cari Sultanik, CZT, requested organic tangles today. I chose Pendrills, Antidots (Anita Rob-Lavery), and Cat-Kin (Mimi Lempart). Check out everyone's tangles.
Facebook's focus tangle this week, is Eye-Wa to which I added Hurry and Msst.
Just for fun, my friend Amy, a new CZT (do go visit her blog,) gave me one of her prestrung Zendalas to play with.
And, Every Inchie Monday had a prompt word of "yellow." How much I dislike yellow jackets, or wasps as they are called locally. Here is a yellow jacket in a yellow jacket, so not quite so scary LOL!
Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

Zentangle® and the Windmills of My Mind
Over at the Diva Challenge, the guest post comes from CZT Lee Darter. She suggested a theme of Circul Life with tangles of Cack, Tropicana, and either Florz, LinQ, or Fescu for the third ring of the three ring circul. I chose LinQ and let the swirlies migrate to the other tangles as well.
Square One, Facebook, had us reviewing Hollibaugh, to which I added Xircus.
And, finally, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was "energy." I did not have the energy to be more creative, so I chose kinetic energy that changes the wind into mechanical power. I need a windmill in my mind. Hummm, I think there's a song about that LOL!
Thank you, all, that stop by to visit. I really enjoy your comments :)

Zentangle®, Simplicity, and an Inchie
The Diva's weekly challenge has a guest blogger this week, Katie Crommett. Katie is a CZT who challenges us to remember simplicity when we tangle. Good advice, Katie!
I chose Tidal that morphed into Crescent Moon all cuddled with Mooka. Lots of breathing room left as well.
Square One, Facebook, had us playing with Finery. I thought I would try making it more angular rather than flowing like a feather. I added a kind of altered Diva Dance and Meer.
And, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was nose. There were so many places I could have gone with this, but for some reason all I could see in my mind was a pig's snout LOL! Some times you've just gotta do what you gotta do!
Thanks for stopping by. I really enjoy and appreciate all the comments.

Zentangle® No Rainbows Allowed
The Diva is enjoying her vacation, and so our guest blogger this week is Jen Crutchfield for weekly challenge #225. Jen challenged us to color, but only two or three and NO rainbows. Well, I found an old tile with a kind of Mookish look that I don't remember doing and thought I would play with it. I have some new Zig Clean Color Brushes that are a watercolor brush. Quite vibrant. I only chose three colors. Three, red/yellow/blue! Duh, can you say rainbow? I thought these brush pens would work nicely on the Zentangle tiles because they are made from very fine watercolor paper. These pens take a bit of practice, but they are fun to work with.
Square One, Facebook, featured tangle this week is Munchin. I added some Gust just because I don't think I have ever done Gust.
One additional Zentangle piece for you this week is done on gray paper (yes, Annemarie) I finally found it) with colored pencil and white charcoal. It is a process from Lynn Mead that she calls Zentwining.
And, finally, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was yarn. Since I am a spinner/weaver/knitter, I have lots of yarn. I chose some pieces of my own handspun yarns for you to see.
Thanks for stopping by. I really enjoy your comments!
