Nzeppel and a New Backpack

This week, Roy at Mindful Creations, asked us to do Nzeppel. Wow! Looks so easy but it was making me crazy. Roy's looks so calm and peaceful. Well, as much as I would like to be that, it's never going to happen. This is what I got:
Then, you may know that when you have a Kohl's 30% off coupon, well, you just HAVE to shop. So, I got myself a backpack in canvas and then ran over to Michael's and picked up some Tulip Fabric Markers. This is what I came up with: (The star is on the back.)

  1. 'Nzeppel is not an easy one, but your tile turned out great!
And your backpack .... I love it.

  2. Thank you Annemarie. I found that I was originally making circles and that's why it wasn't working. I think I just blindly rush on and do whatever I think it should be instead of taking the time to really study tangles. I must SLOW down. After all, isn't that the point of Zentangle?

  3. Do not think that there is a right way. Yours look fine. Partly depends on the size and shape of your space. What helps me is I remember Maria saying to draw what would look like if you pushed a hard boiled egg into the space. Would touch a lot of the sides, but not go all the way to the corner.
