A Dare and Some Jewelry Ideas

I actually finished the Zendala Dare early (for me) this week. I don't have much else to share as I am working furiously (mindfully though) on my ATCs for the CZT swap. I have decided to do TWO decks (yes, crazy)! I will post ALL of them when I have finished. So, here is the Dare from The Bright Owl. I used Ixorus and Fracas with some black pearls:
I am doing a class on using Zentangle on jewelry pieces this upcoming Friday at Hobby Lobby. Check the Workshops and Classes page for more information. (Forgive the glare, they aren't actually scratched like they look.)

  1. Very nice. I was tempted by the same pattern for the centre, but then used only part of it.

  4. Your zendala is lovely. I think your choice of tangles is quite good, especially for the center section which looks great. (I used your Chaz!) I really like all of your strong deliberate line work here too--very nicely done.

    1. Thanks, Kim, and thanks for remembering my Chaz. Your comment about the deliberate line work got me to thinking. I keep trying to be soft and flowing. Last week someone even mentioned my "style". Maybe I should just stop fighting it and go with my "style" LOL!

    1. Well, Annie, you know what they say, "Great minds think alike!" HAHA Actually, I think some shapes just seem to call out for certain patterns and sometimes I have to fight the urge to do what I think others will do. Maybe we all do that and so we still wind up with the same thoughts :)

  7. Lovely stuff Miss Jean! Really Really nice line work!

& the tangled charms/pendants (especially the ones in the bezels because of the dimensionality of the resin) are awesome.
