And, the prompt word for Every Inchie Monday is "Evolution." I thought I'd share my artistic evolution from using crayons as a tot (left) to my professional Copic markers (right) as an adult and accomplished artist. Well, maybe not so much of an evolution, huh? (And, I still love my crayons!)
Thank you for stopping by. I want to wish every one of you, who celebrate, a very Merry Christmas with one of my Copic colored cards!
Merry Christmas |
Oh Jean, you blow me away! Looooooooooooove those gem earrings! It's good fun playing around with that effect, isn't it? I ended up getting the eBook on the gems, as well as the one on shading Narwal (have a look here: http://think.enioken.com).
ReplyDeleteThat's one gorgeous Ixorus tile.
Your inchie is mega LOL :-D and so brilliant!
Happy holidays & celebrations & hugs from me!!
Well, Zoe, you know we both come from the same planet, so of course I have gotten those books too. I still need to study them and do better with paper, so I am waiting to change my printer ink before I do so. Did you join Eni's Facebook group? Nice to see what others are doing too.
DeleteLove yhe jewelled piece and the other art project. Great idea for the inchie as well
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas
Love Chrissie xx
Thank you, Chrissie. Merry Christmas to you as well!
DeleteLove the idea of your evolution. At first I thought you have drawn DNA in an abstract form.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to stay at the roots. Why not use crayons?
Except for the inability to get a very sharp point with crayons, I think they are still an excellent choice. The colors can be blended as easily as colored pencils and they do have a very nice kind of coverage. Yup, Trillian, why not?
DeleteGreat idea for your inchie. I prefer crayons to all the new types of coloured markers. I hopeless with them. Have a fab Christmas Love Wendy xx
ReplyDeleteWell, you certainly can save a lot of money using crayons. You can get a whole box full of yummy colors for the cost of one marker! Hope your Christmas is wonderful too, Wendy!
DeleteWhoops, forgot to mention the tangles, the ear-rings are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Wendy :)
Deleteexcellent idea for evolution - especially with the current colouring book trend. Your gems are beautiful
ReplyDeleteI have always used coloring books for relaxing coloring time. It's a great way to "not think", just like Zentangle! Thanks, Kia!
DeleteBeautiful gems and a fun inchie. Great work! :)
ReplyDeletelove the ideas this week and the evolution one was very clever, the card is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Freebird, and thanks for noticing the card I made too :)
