Zentangle® a Stacked Bijou, Knightsbridge, and an Inchie

I am the Diva's guest this week is CZT, Jane Reiter with a "stack Bijou" challenge, number 261. Jane used Sandy Steen Bartholomew’s online book, Tangles of Santa Fe for inspiration. Since I have that book as well, I used it for my tangles. From small to large, Knot1, Fob, Roller, Fuse, and Lune. The outer shape was airbrushed with a Copic marker. I used a white acrylic paint pen for the white accents and I shaded with colored pencil.

Square One, Facebook, has a focus tangle of Knightsbridge. I made a criss-cross shape of squares, filled sides with curved Knightsbridge, and added some Tipple in Knightsbridge style. It started to look like a bag that had a hole in it, so I playfully added some straps!

The prompt word at Every Inchie Monday is "Peanuts". When I was very young, there were no malls. We took a bus to go "downtown" to shop. There was a Planter's Peanut store and Mr. Peanut stood outside handing out hot peanuts. Ah, memories!

Thank you for stopping by. I do want to let you know that I will be gone for a few weeks, so don't worry about me. I'm off on an adventure and sad to leave my babies at home (Rufus the dog, Charlie the cat, and Jasmine the bird), but they will be fine since their beloved "uncle Paul" comes here to stay whenever we are gone. See you in a few!

Rufus was actually yawning, but I like to think he was giving Charlie an earful about stealing his bed!

  2. funny pictures of the babies that made me smile, the cat is gordgeous, so typical: taking the bed from the dog when he isn't watching for a moment.
Very nice diva- challenge-tile too, lovely colours, especially the outer shape is beautiful.

    1. Now that all the children are grown and gone, these babies are who we spoil. And, I really mean spoil LOL! I do like that shape for a border too. Glad I pulled up my eBook from Sandy to pick out the tangles to use. Thanks for stopping by, Ria!

  6. The colors and tangles you chose do remind me of Santa Fe which we visited a few years ago. I love the Knightsbridge bag save. In a strange coincidence, there's a photo of our 11 year old cockapoo fur baby in my Diva post this week. Safe travels. I hope you enjoy your trip and will share some of it in a few photos when you return. I'm either being nosy or a travel blogger----or both. ;-)

    1. We drove through Santa Fe last year, but hubby can't stand to be anywhere with crowds. The traffic was horrendous and people were just everywhere, so we just drove through. I would like to see it though sometime. I will certainly take some pictures on our journey (if we stop anywhere LOL!)

  14. I especially love that airbrushed outermost square on your stacked tangle. I wish I could figure out Copics in some way that looks less like a 5-year-old with Crayolas! Beautiful.

    1. Thanks, Daniele. Well, I'm not sure if the bird got out that Rufus and Charlie wouldn't consider her a nice treat :) I wish I could catch a photo of the cat cleaning the dog's ears. If they see me looking, they stop and go back to being mean to each other haha!
