Zentangle® Marasu, Molygon, Yew-Dee, Shattuck, and Jetties
Laura, at I am the Diva, has challenged us to do a "duotangle" (a term of the Diva's to mean only two tangles together) of Marasu vs Molygon. I grabbed a white tile and added some Distress Inks and then splattered with water drops. I
added some black and white charcoal for contrasts.
And, in my Zentangle journal, I did some Shattuck and Jetties variations.
Thanks for stopping by, I do enjoy reading your comments!

Zentangle®, Trio, Waybob, Printemps and Florz
Laura, at I am the Diva, has challenged us to use the new tangle Waybop. It's really a pretty tangle when done gracefully. Graceful I have never been, LOL, but I do like this new tangle. I worked on a Renaissance tile with soft pastel like pencils from The Fine Touch, Hobby Lobby. I added some brown colored pencil and white for highlights.
The focus tangle on Square One, Facebook, is Trio by Hanny Waldburger, CZT. I added a bit of Cadent like topping.
And, in my Zentangle journal, the easy tangles of Printemps and Florz. A student once did Printemps in the "sloppy" way and I kind of liked it, so I included it for you to think about. Perfect isn't always necessary in Zentangle, right?

Zentangle® a Valentangle, Flowerly, and Hollibaugh
Create a "Valentangle" is the challenge this week from I am the Diva. Since I am a cardmaker, this was fun. You can see the valentine I made for my hubby on my cardmaking blog, TangleStreetColorway.
For this card, I used some different heart tangles from Helen Williams and a few dangles. I used very sparkly gel pens (that don't show up in photos), a Copic purple multiliner, and a white gel pen. The heart is popped up for interest.
Square One, on Facebook, has a focus tangle of Flowerly by Ina Sonnenmaser. I added half of Verve and some Betweed.
And, this week's journal page has a bit of Hollibaugh fun going on. Have you ever tried doing Hollibaugh inside of Hollibaugh? I did that in this post from last year.
Thanks for stopping by. I always enjoy reading your comments!

Zentangle® Hamadox, Neuron, and Crescent Moon
The first Monday of the month, so it is a UMT (use my tangle) over at I am the Diva. This week's tangle comes rom CZT Diana Schruer and is called Hamadox. It is backed with Florz. I use a Renaissance tile with a pink Copic Multiliner and Prismacolor pencils.
The focus tangle from Facebook's Square One is Beth Snoderly’s Neuron. Very simple tangle, so it was fun to come up with something different using a "star" based one instead of the circles.
Beginning to work through the basic beginner tangles with variations in my journal, starting of course with Crescent Moon.
