Zentangle® UMT Bugles and an Inchie

The Diva's Challenge was a "UMT" (Use My Tangle) for this week. The tangle chosen was Bugles by Joyce Evans. This is a tangle that was fun to play with. Take a peek and try some yourself!

The Inchie prompt for this week was Khaki. At first, I was going to do the Khaki Campbell Duck, but I have done a duck before. Then, I remembered that when I was teaching art we did a section on color theory. We use a paper plate to add the primaries plus black and white and I showed them how to make their own color wheel. Of course, some of the boys (yes, I know that's sexist, but it is true on this particular occasion) just couldn't resist mixing everything. And, what did they get? A horrible khaki color that they thought was just wonderful :)
