Guest posters, Juliette Fiessinger and Kellie Fellinge, for I am the Diva, have asked us to think of what cozy means to us and use that in our tangling this week.
My idea of "cozy"is when fall comes, and in the evening, after finishing all the required
duties of the day, that a hot cup of coffee is the BEST!
I used Bloom, Strickles, Msst, and Meer. I did turn this into a card for a card challenge. So, if you would like to see what it became, click here.
The focus tangle for Square One, Facebook, this week is African Artist by CZT Tina Hunziker. I let the lines go a bit and focused on the inner seed. Then, I let Squid wander through. Do look up the tangle so you can see what it really should look like :)
Thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment if you have the time. I truly enjoy reading them.
❤ your coffee cup selection Jean. It's a beautiful evening comfort to cozy up with a warm drink.😃
ReplyDeleteIt's our favorite time of day around here, Deanne. Thanks 😃
DeleteAs soon as I finish with this comment, inspired by your "cozy" coffee cups, I'm going to go make myself a cozy, warm beverage. Very nice idea and execution, as usual.
ReplyDeleteWell, especially for you Suzanne, this is the time of year when it is such a nice way to relax. We're still a bit hot here in Arizona, but give it a couple more months, and we'll join you in cool weather.
DeleteYour idea with your coffee cups in such friendly colors and really cozy patterns is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Malerisches. What's so funny is that on my card blog, people think I just cut out patterned paper, LOL!
DeleteLove your stack of cups. For me they would be filled with tea, not coffee. Something very soothing about sitting with tea in a very nice cup.
ReplyDeleteTea is good too, Miss L. My evening coffee is decaf though so it doesn't keep me up at night :)
DeleteLove your hot cups, very cozy idea! Although I would fill them with tea ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm sure it would be so cozy, Ilse. Thanks for stopping by. If you ever get to Arizona, I'll make you a pot of tea :)
DeleteLove the coffee cup..mine would be filled with tea :) Great and lovely work!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of tea drinkers out there, Priscilla. I love tea and coffee, but I probably drink more coffee just to keep going :) Thanks for your comment. It is most appreciated!
DeleteI do like your idea of coziness :-) Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annemarie :)
DeleteThose stacked cups are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to combine my love of Zentangle with my love of stamping and die cutting, Michele!
DeletePiled cups certainly remind me of cozy! 💖
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy my cup, Sue. :)
DeleteWonderful idea with a cup of coffee Jean :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was something different, so fun for me to do, Gudrun :)
DeleteYour coffee cups do indeed look very cozy, Jean. Just looking at them brings me that snug, comfortable feeling.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying a cup as I write this, Pat. Maybe it's the warmth of a hot beverage that brings on that cozy feeling.
DeleteI really like your whimsical tile with the cups. I love those cups, especially the top one. I want one just like that. LOL I'll take tea in mine and a nice cozy spot to sit and chat. That was a great idea. Your African Artist is really nice. I'll have to go look at it again to see where you changed it up. :-D It works wonderfully with squid. I finally got mine up today. It's been a busy week. But the weather has cooled considerably and the nights are cool enough to sleep under a blanket now. Ahhh, so cozy. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melena. I kind of like the bottom one myself, if it was a real cup that is. Yes, do look at African Artist, it is nothing like mine at all and really so much prettier. We're still quite warm here. It will be at least another month or two before we can call it cool, usually anyway.
DeleteCozy...and clever! Like my mother before me, I always have a cup at hand once the weather cools down!
ReplyDeleteMy mom as well, Jennifer. I think it ran through her veins, LOL!
