Dare #81, Diva Challenge Well & Pean-nuckle, and a TOW

The Zendala Dare for this week really appealed to me in its plain state. There was something about the shape that I found compelling. However, I did have more difficulty than usual selecting tangles to place into it especially after I saw some of the completed Zendals of others. I finally ignored those beauties and just went off on my own. And, I like it:







On to the Diva Challenge. This week, she once more pulled out some that I do find a challenge: Pea-nuckle and Well.


And, finally, the TOW, Tangle of the Week, from my Yahoo Group was to use Cadox by Margaret Bremner. This was a really fun one to do on one of my painted ATCs:

      Thank you, Kim. I didn't saturate the piece this week and it is able to breathe a bit more this way.

      Thanks, Annie. I'm doing some work using the ATCs for the swap I am in. So, I am doing two for one :)

    Jean, you have chosen beautiful tangles for your zendala, I like the open spots in it.
    The others are beautiful too, especially the colored one.

      Thank you, Annemarie. I liked this template a lot. I saw Poppie's (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lillypop12/11026430565/in/photostream/) who did tumbling dishes that I really liked.

    Your zendala is great! I like how you minimalized the template! & your Diva Challenge piece is great too! I'm still having a hard time deciding how to put Well & Pea-nuckle together. Also, your ATC is sooooo pretty. The painted ground is lovely (I have a major affinity for the color green)

      Thanks, Kathryn. I couldn't either so I just randomly placed the Well and then worked around it. I find that I usually use grid patterns as background for other tangles.

    So wonderful pieces! Wonderful tangles in your zendala. Also I like your combination of Well and Pea-nuckle. My favorite is your gorgeous ATC!! Very nicely done!
