Zentangle® and the Windmills of My Mind

Over at the Diva Challenge, the guest post comes from CZT Lee Darter. She suggested a theme of Circul Life with tangles of Cack, Tropicana, and either Florz, LinQ, or Fescu for the third ring of the three ring circul. I chose LinQ and let the swirlies migrate to the other tangles as well.

Square One, Facebook, had us reviewing Hollibaugh, to which I added Xircus.

And, finally, for Every Inchie Monday, the prompt was "energy." I did not have the energy to be more creative, so I chose kinetic energy that changes the wind into mechanical power. I need a windmill in my mind. Hummm, I think there's a song about that LOL!

Thank you, all, that stop by to visit. I really enjoy your comments :)

Hollibaugh and Xircus go very well together too.

    1. Thank you, Ilse. I visited Holland when I was a teenager and we didn't see any windmills. I was really disappointed. But, they had the best tiny little popsicles :)

  8. Every week I'm amazed by the variety of ideas you come up with. This week, it's the Hollibaugh one that strikes a chord, although how you squeezed a windmill and the wind onto an Inchie i just do not know!

    1. Thanks, Margaret. I kind of like the way that Hollibaugh grows myself. I used to wonder about those inchies, but I do really easy ones. You need to go take a look at the magnificent pieces that other people do in that tiny space!

  9. "Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel/ Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel,,," I LOVE that song (by Dusty
Springfield) and know a lot of the words - I'm always singing it to myself. Love the way the wind is blowing on the windmill. Great inchie this week.

  10. And now the song is going around my mind, Brainworm we call them. Clever interpretation of the Circus challenge, the linqs looks like banners on top of the Big Top.

    1. I know!!! Isn't that sad? We did see one in Belgium though on our way from the train. So, it almost counted LOL! When I win the lottery, and I come to visit you, you can show me some! Thanks, Annemarie :)

  13. Such detail. Your circus looks like fun. Your windmill looks like more like brooms to me. Maybe it's because I keep thinking of the floors that need sweeping but I'm enjoying everyones work instead. Oh well there is always tomorrow.
