Zendala Dare # 113

Another wonderful template from Erin over at The Bright Owl. I used variations of Verve and Drupe, some rounding, with a border of Cadent.
Thanks for stopping by. I really enjoy reading your comments!

    1. Thanks, Beverly. I didn't think that way, but now that you say it, I think you'r right. Those outer shapes look kind of like shields.

    1. Thank you, Jennifer. I'm trying to add more "drama" to my pieces. (Probably meaning, more black!)

  4. Nice work! I especially like what you did with the connectors on the inside and around the edge.

    1. Thank you, Donna. Those just kind of happened and actually surprised me. I love it when tangles do that.

  5. I LOVE the contrast in your zendala Jean! I like how your 'rings' are connected. And, like you said, it's always fun to see what we do with a template, the huge difference.

  6. Jean, I love all the darkness in this. More black, always makes a tile look so much more dramatic!! Lovely!!! ;0)

    1. I used to avoid adding black, Annette, because I was afraid I would use up all my ink LOL! Silly, especially since I have pens all over the house! Thanks.

  9. Your stone stack is warm and beautiful. The effects you achieved are wonderful. It's not all that often that stones make one feel warm and fuzzy, but yours did. :)

  10. Beautifully done Jean! I love the use of Verve in the center pods, and love the way you changed the connecting lines to circles, cadent and a sort of rounding…. much more organic!

    1. I do love to play with Verve. I also love to play with Paradox and use them partially or in unexpected shapes. Thank you, Sue.
