Zentangle® Center Square, Beeline, and an Inchie

I hope all of you who celebrate Labor Day had a wonderful one. Mine was quiet with a long afternoon swim. The Diva did not post yesterday, but today at I am the Diva, the UMT (use my tangle) comes to us from Aleesha Sattva, CZT, and is called Center Square. I felt like using color and made mine into a patchwork quilt with added Vitruvius and Courant.
The focus tangle from Square One, Facebook, is Beeline. I added Hurry and Cadent.
And, the prompt word at Every Inchie Monday is "Mice". When I was a music teacher, my students loved it when I let them sing a variation of "Three Blind Mice" called "Three Miopic Rodents"!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I truly enjoy reading your comments.

    1. Wouldn't it be so much fun to meet, Chrissie? I think we would really hit it off since we do have those "great minds"!

  2. Thanks, Aleesha. It is a very flexible tangle and I can see so many possibilities. I'm anxious to see what others have come up with.

  3. I like how soft your Centre Square is. Square tile also looks good. Interesting tangellation of cadent.

    1. Thank you, Miss L. Once my students get to learn tangellations, Cadent is my go to. It's just so much fun to play with.

  5. Jean, this is reilly a very nice composition what you have done on the DIva's tile.
On your second tile, I'm fond of your variation of cadent. I have to use that tangle more, it has so many possibilities.
Every week I'm curious to see your ichie and you never dissapoint me!

    1. Thank you, Ria. You have no idea how much your continued support means to me. Do play with Cadent. It really is so expandable. (Try squares or triangles to start. Make angular lines instead of curves, etc.!)

  6. I love what you did with Center Square (Hmmmm, Is it "centre" in Canadian?) I love using Vitruvius and it fits so nicely with Center Square. Courant really rounds it out. Very nice tile. Your Beeline tile is so nice. I like how you incorporated Hurry and Cadent in there. And of course your "Three Biopic Rodents", err 3 blind mice, ;-) are so cute. I love your Inchies. They always make me smile. :-D

I'm out of town for a bit but I did get my Diva Challenge completed despite having a cold this week (YIKES! I haven't had a cold for years. What is this all about? Sniffle, sniffle, cough, cough, achoooooo! It's getting better now, but I'm warning everyone to not get a cold!) Now I'm off to do something totally different - some crochet art. ;-) Have a great week.

    1. I've just recently discovered Vitruvius and think it is so pretty, Melena. I don't think I've used Courant very often either. Having a few "advanced" students does keep me on my toes and always on the search for new and fun tangles. I'm sorry you aren't feeling tip top. Do take care of yourself and I'm looking forward to seeing your crochet art!

    1. Thank you, Suse. I guess, in today's world, blind mice with tail chopping is probably a bit harsh. Glad I grew up in a world that had a sense of humor LOL!

  9. Love your three blind mice. I remember my X husband getting really shirty when I won a game of trivial pursuits by knowing what happened to the three blind mice. Great tangles as well.

  13. I like the subtle colours you used for the Diva piece, really brings out the Vitruvius nicely and the variations of the squares. You got to the rodents before me, so I had to move along to something else! And I'll stay far, far away from petunias. And exes.

    1. I never look at anyone's work before I do mine, Cheryl. I don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone has done the same as I'm thinking, and I always feel inadequate when I see how wonderful everyone's work is. I would never post LOL! And, exes need to stay away in reality and in thoughts!!!
