I'm still running a bit behind. Isn't it amazing how a few days away really makes such a difference? Well, I
finally finished Erin's snowflake Zendala from
The Bright Owl. I really had to think about this one. Not too "snowflaky" but fun:
Laura's
Challenge this week was to use Crescent Moon and Diva Dance. What a great combo. This one was a lot of fun also:
Every Inchie Monday called for "Engrave", so I thought I should "engrave" my chop:
And, finally, a tile done for my April Zentangle group using just the letter "C":

Thanks for stopping by :)
I love your engrave inchie.
ReplyDeleteThanks, and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. It is always so appreciated :)
DeleteLove that Diva challenge piece - so different! Clever, clever inchie! I see what you mean by us having similar ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Zoe. That challenge was a fun one.
DeleteYour snowflake Zentangle is absolutely gorgeous, Jean! And what a great idea to do tangles that start with the same letter - great way to get through some new or less well known ones.
ReplyDeleteAxxx
Thanks, Annie. I do love to be "pushed" into using different tangles. I think that's why I do so many dares/challenges/swaps :)
DeleteWow, I like your challenge piece a lot Jean. I love the open space in it and the shading is great.
ReplyDeleteThe others are beautiful too.
Thanks, Annemarie. I thought these two were fun to do as a duotangle. Everyone did a nice job with this one!
DeleteJean, I love the detail in your Inchie! And I'm really liken all of the entries that have open space in them on the Diva's challenge!! Everything is beautiful!! :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annette. I agree, everyone's work is so beautiful this week. Those two tangles just begged for some open space to let them do their thing.
DeleteReally like your Diva's Challenge piece, Jean. Nice open space, and nice shading, too.
DeleteEverything is so beautiful. I love your snowflake.
ReplyDeleteCathy, thanks for always leaving me such nice comments :)
DeleteI love your Crescent Moon and Diva Dance-Tile. It's so flowing. Your other tiles and the inchie are great too.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) And, thanks for stopping by.
DeleteHow fun is your challenge tile and the Zendala, awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kate, it was a lot of fun doing the Crescent Moon and Diva Dance. Thank you.
DeleteOh, what a wonderful zendala! So light and airy! Your Diva´s Challenge tile is lovely, too! I like the depth here! All in all really beautiful pieces this week again!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lonetta!
DeleteI was totally late on the zendala dare too! & yours is lovely, & worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteYour Diva Challenge piece is so cool - loose & organic, with really nice shading!
Isn't it annoying when you fall behind? (Especially when you open your email folder and see billions of emails, most of them advertisements!) Anyway, I'm still trying to catch up and thank goodness for Zentangle to calm me down! Thanks, Kathryn :)
DeleteI struggled with the zendala template also. Once I gave up the idea of the snowflake it did come together. Like your challenge piece. Reminds me of streamers billowing off a balcony.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Donald, it was a bit difficult to do a snowflake from that template. Thanks for your comments!
DeleteWow you've been busy again this week. The snowflake is really Christmassy. It's a great idea to use tangles beginning with the same letter, I think I'll try that when I'm looking for inspiration in the future x
ReplyDeleteI do think my snowflake looks Christmassy also. It looks more like a window where you can see the snow falling maybe. I also agree that picking a letter forces you to try out new tangles and that's always a good thing :)
DeleteAlways fun to see your entries!! Since I am new, I often check out what you did for ideas :) ~ Diane Clancy
ReplyDeleteDiane, what an extreme compliment. I am honored that you think I have good ideas. Thank you!
DeleteWow you were busy this last week!! So much eye candy here. Great job!
