Zentangle® Earth Day, An Inchie, and Just Fun

Angel Fish, Cat-Kin, Sanibelle, Tipple
This week, I was lucky enough to teach an Organic and Tangled Garden class. What fun! People seem to really love the freedom of a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) and the flow of organic tangles. We worked on tan pape

Onamato, Verve, Reticulated, Nipa

Jonqal, Sandswirl, Lichen, Quib
While I waited for the class to begin, I played with some ATC's with glitter/paint strings:

HOTdog
Every Inchie Monday's prompt was HOT. Oh, the different directions people will go with this one. I can't wait to look, but I never look until I have posted. I'm afraid if I look first, I will be too embarrassed to post mine LOL!!!

And, the Diva challenged us to create a tile for Earth Day. I had to add a bit of Diva Dance to my tree :)

Happy Earth Day to all and thank you for stopping by!

    1. Thank you, Katie! I enjoy color too. What would we do without color? I always wonder though if we all see color the same. For example, could my red be your green? Hummmmm

    1. Thanks, Annie. I'm probably one of the few people who will admit that one of my favorite "restaurants" and favorite "meal" is the $1.50 hot dog and drink at Costco. It's date night for me and my husband!

    1. Actually, Karen, it has me thinking and I must make a trip over to Costco for lunch today. (It usually costs a WHOLE lot more though once you step inside that place = dangerous to the pocketbook!)

  14. So cool that you got to teach a class. It is a blessing to be able to teach your art to someone. Never be embarrassed by your art hun, you are awesome. I am always blown away by anyone who can do ZIA, BTW I love the take on the theme for the inchie. Adorable!

    1. Thanks so much for your comments. I LOVE teaching. I taught elementary art for over 20 years and then did other things for another 16 years. It is so nice to get back to doing what I really enjoy, sharing my passions with others.

  16. Such a fun Earth Day Challenge entry!!! It seems you had a lot of fun with it, also!
I started doing the same thing you do... not to look at everyone's submissions before creating and posting mine - or I may just decide it isn't good enough :). I have to check out your inchie challenges; I used to love creating them.

    1. Aren't we just such critics of our own work, Marta? We need to shut down that "inner critic" and appreciate our own style. I like to come up with, what I think will be, original ideas. If I look at others, it interferes with that process. Yes, do join us with the Inchie group. We have so much fun.
